at JPSF
J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL is a Japanese pop culture-themed street fair that covers the grounds of Post Street from Webster to Laguna and the Peace Plaza of Japantown, San Francisco. Over 65,000 people attended last year's event, enjoying Live Music, Shows, Contests, Movie Premieres, and a wide array of some of the best vendors in the area. This year's festival is hosted by NEW PEOPLE in cooperation with the Japantown Merchants Association.
Apply for a space at Anime Lane!
Anime Lane Application
JPSF takes place the weekend of July 27 and 28, 2013 and runs from 11am to 6pm each day.
The J-Pop Summit Festival is free for attendees and open to all.
We expect over 70,000 to attend this year! It'll be great!
The dynamic is a little different though, as the selling environment is more street fair style than traditional convention style. For the vendor/artist who has not exhibited at this type of event before, contact our Vendor Representative who can give you some specific recommendations on how to maximize your returns.
This year, we welcome both vendors and anime/manga artists to Anime Lane!
Vendors: (10' x 10' space with table and two chairs): $400
Artists: (6' x 4' space with table and one chair): $100.
The Artist rate is open to those artists who are primarily selling original artwork and/or fanart (drawings, pencils, paintings, sculptures, etc.) in an anime/manga style. Anime Lane has the final authority to determine if someone qualifies at the Artist Rate.
Artists are welcome to share their table with other artists.
All spaces are tented.
Any general questions about Anime Lane? Contact our Anime Lane Dealers Contact at animelane@aodsf.org. We'll get right in touch with you.
