If you are an artist and need more information about Artist Alley, please see our artist's information page.
Our Artist Alley features the best local community artists. They come to show off their work, take commissions, and make a name for themselves. We provide a casual atmosphere where you interact with the artists one-on-one, so you work with them, and maybe even learn something new. The Artist Alley is located within the Dealers Room at 2014, and shares the same open hours:
The Artist Alley at AOD 2014 is in Grand Peninsula Ballroom ABCD, on the main floor of the hotel, the same as the Dealers Room.

AOD is proud to help raise funds for community causes. Our staff, our guests of honor, and our friends in the industry have all given their time and items to the Charity Auction. Each year, the items range from the unique, to the mysterious, to the out-of-print and the absolutely surprising. Posters, DVDs, signed artwork, video games, voice work, consoles, collectables, and even intangible things, it's all here. Place your bids at the Charity Auction and support a good cause! Read more about AOD's charity work.
For AOD 2014, our home charity is the California Academy of Sciences. Most items from the Charity Auction will support this wonderful institution.
The California Academy of Sciences, located in San Francisco's iconic Golden Gate Park, inspires lifelong curiosity for the natural world for its visitors. Home to Steinhart Aquarium, Kimball Natural History Museum, Morrison Planetarium, and world-class research and education programs, the California Academy of Sciences is one of San Francisco's most entertaining educational attractions. www.calacademy.org

What would AOD be without the Dealers Hall? Going on strong with ten sold out years in a row, the Dealers Hall is back with a vengeance, for another deal-packed exhibit extravaganza extraordinaire. The Dealers Room is open to the public on both days of the convention:

This event starts on Friday, January 24th at 8:30pm and ends at 10:30pm. It takes place in the Hotel Foyer.
No badge is required to attend this event. However, sellers must have both a badge and a Swap Meet Ticket. If you're interested in selling, check out the details.
You know how some people hoard unbelievable amounts of stuff? Are you one of those people? Or are looking to become one? Well, then the Swap Meet is where you need to be. Any attendee who wants to sell items is welcome to purchase a Swap Meet ticket for $20 and set up camp. Then, when the doors burst open, all the other attendees flood the room, sifting through your old anime, comics, video games, and toys, looking for those special treasures.
