A short walk from the hotel presents a few more tasty options to the hungry attendee.
Max's Restaurant & Bar is just south of the Hyatt, at 1250 Old Bayshore Highway, open Saturday 9am to 11pm, and Sunday 9am to 10pm. Big portions, good food.
Benihana is just North at 1496 Old Bayshore Highway. Good for groups, reservations recommended.
El Torito is at 1590 Old Bayshore Highway for your Mexican food cravings.
Day and Night All American Grill is directly across the street from the Hyatt. You will find it at 1310 Old Bayshore Highway. Open daily from 7am to 11pm, they offer huge portions and all-day-breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
In-N-Out Burger is the closest fast food, and is across from the CalTrain station, at 11 Rollins Road, and open 10:30am to 1am.
If you want something more, Broadway street in Burlingame has many restaurants, cafes, and other useful services. It is approximately 5 minutes by car and 15 minutes away on foot from the Hyatt Regency, on the other side of 101.
From the Hyatt, head south on Old Bayshore Hwy, then take the right on the ramp to Broadway (in front of the Crowne Plaza hotel.) Although you will go through a full 360° loop, you will not actually enter 101. Continue south on Broadway for several blocks until you pass the Caltrain tracks.
There is street parking available on Broadway and its side streets. Many spots are metered, please check signage for timing and rates.
From the Hyatt, head south on Old Bayshore Hwy. Note that you will need to cross the street (there is a crosswalk in front of the Hyatt by the bus stop) as the sidewalk does not fully cover the west side of the street.
Turn right at the intersection in front of the Crowne Plaza hotel and take the pedestrian bridge over 101. Continue straight/south onto Broadway, and head past the Caltrain tracks.
