Location

Hotel Rooms

For AOD 2013, we are proud to announce that we have arranged discounts with two Japantown hotels for our attendees to pick from.

Hotel Kabuki

The Hotel Kabuki is San Francisco's premier Japanese-style hotel with a western touch. With its prime Japantown location and unique blend of Eastern and Western influences, Hotel Kabuki offers calm and serene accommodations and ambiance.

Hotel Kabuki

Recently renovated in 2007, the new decor elegantly balances the refined beauty of the East and West. The hotel's location is central to shopping, dining, and entertainment, including a new film theater complex and a choice of music venues all within walking distance.

We are pleased to announce a discount convention rate of $109 for 1-2 persons. UPDATE: The Kabuki has a small number of rooms still available. Two additional persons may be added to your room for $20 each. Rooms can be rented online, or you can also reserve by phone by contacting Hotel Kabuki Reservations at 800-533-4567 and telling them you are with Animation On Display.

Hotel Tomo

The Hotel Tomo is an honest to goodness anime themed hotel! Its guest rooms are more than roomy, cheery, and colorful; they're J-Pop works of art, with unique anime-style murals in every room. The Tomo is a three minute walk from the Kabuki.

We now have reserved a small block of rooms at the Hotel Tomo. The rates are the same as the Kabuki: $109/night for 1-2 persons, and $20 each for the third and fourth persons. UPDATE: Our block at the Tomo is now sold out- we are working with them to see if we can get more rooms
